Welcome to our little corner of Toledo Bend!

 

We are Texans through and through, originally from both Rosenberg and Galveston, where life is shaped by the beach, the Gulf breeze, the open fields of Fort Bend County, and the steady rhythm of coastal living. As much as we love our hometowns, we often found ourselves craving a different kind of peace. We wanted something quieter, calmer, and a little closer to the heart of natural East Texas. That search eventually led us to the piney woods and the wide open waters of Toledo Bend in Burkeville.

 

Maybe it is because we are Burkes ourselves, but Burkeville called to us from the very beginning. There was something about the way Toledo Bend glowed at sunset, the slower pace of life, and the warmth of the people that made us feel like we had found a place we were truly meant to be. What began as a simple weekend escape quickly grew into a genuine love for this area and a desire to create a space where others could experience the same beauty and peace that drew us in.

 

We built this RV park with that feeling in mind. We wanted a place that was easy to get to, comfortable to stay in, and filled with the small touches that make a getaway memorable. Whether you are breaking away from the coast, stepping out of the city, or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind, our goal is to make you feel at home the moment you arrive.

 

Here you can wake up to the gentle rustle of the trees, spend your days out on Toledo Bend, relax with friends and family, or simply sit back and take in the natural charm that makes this lake so unforgettable. This water, this land, and this community have brought us so much joy, and we cannot wait to share that joy with others.
